Description

The Solana is a 550mm diameter semi-flush ceiling light built around nine satin brass vertical rods extending from a circular matt black ceiling plate, each rod terminating in a spherical acid-etched glass globe housing a G9 bulb. The rods vary in length to create a staggered composition when viewed from below, with the globes distributed across three depth layers rather than a single plane.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m where a full pendant drop would be too low but surface-flush fittings offer insufficient presence, the Solana suits dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms needing a centrepiece fitting that provides both ambient and decorative light. The acid-etched finish on the glass diffuses the light output from all nine bulbs to reduce glare and create a soft, even wash across the ceiling and surrounding surfaces.
