Description

The Solana 30 is a linear pendant from Ideal Lux, built around two parallel satin brass bars arranged in a rectangular frame 1430mm long by 930mm deep. Thirty blown glass globes in amber tint are distributed along both bars, each housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The satin brass finish provides a warm mid-tone metallic surface that pairs with both contemporary and transitional interiors without the high shine of polished brass.

Designed for large dining tables, kitchen islands in open-plan spaces, and hospitality settings where overhead light needs to cover a long horizontal surface, the Solana 30 delivers multiple small light sources distributed across a wide span rather than concentrating light in a single point. The amber glass diffuses each G9 bulb into a soft warm glow, while the multiple sources combine to produce broad illumination along the length of the fitting. The rectangular frame allows the pendant to sit centrally over a table or island without overhanging at the short ends.

Each glass globe is hand-blown, so minor variations in size and tone between individual spheres are typical of the manufacturing process. The satin brass frame uses circular-section metal tubing for the bars and matching brass canopy and suspension cables, giving a consistent material language across the fitting.
