The Solana 30 is a linear pendant built around a matt black rectangular metal frame carrying thirty individual smoked Pyrex glass globes, each housing a G9 bulb (sold separately). The frame measures 1430mm long by 930mm wide, arranged as two parallel rails with the glass spheres mounted at staggered heights along both sides and the ends, creating a cloud-like cluster when viewed from below.

Designed for large dining tables, kitchen islands, open-plan living areas and commercial hospitality spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Solana 30 provides ambient rather than task lighting. The smoked glass diffuses the light from each G9 bulb, softening direct glare while casting overlapping pools of warm glow across the surface below. The 30-bulb configuration allows for significant cumulative brightness when fitted with higher-wattage G9 LEDs, or a softer effect with lower-wattage bulbs.

The matt black frame and smoked glass globes suit contemporary, industrial and mid-century interiors where darker tones and metallic accents are already present. Each globe is hand-blown Pyrex, so slight variation in size and smoke density between individual pieces is normal. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 dimmable bulbs and a suitable trailing-edge dimmer, allowing the intensity to be adjusted for different times of day or room functions.

Are the bulbs included?

No. The Solana 30 requires thirty G9 bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 2W-4W LED G9 bulbs in 2700K-3000K warm white for a softer ambient effect, or 5W-7W bulbs for brighter output over a dining table.

What size room or table does it suit?

The 1430mm x 930mm frame suits dining tables between 1800-2400mm long and kitchen islands of similar length. For open-plan living areas, ceiling heights of 2.7m or above work best to maintain clearance below the lowest hanging globes.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. The dimmer must be rated for the total wattage of all 30 bulbs combined.

How are the glass globes attached?

Each globe clips or threads onto a socket mounted to the black frame. The globes are removable for bulb replacement or cleaning. Handle the smoked Pyrex carefully as it can chip if knocked against hard surfaces during installation or maintenance.
