Description

The Solana is an 850mm circular chandelier ring carrying 14 white acid-etched glass globes arranged around a white metal frame. Each globe houses a G9 bulb (sold separately) and the acid-etched finish diffuses light evenly across the fitting, softening the output and reducing glare. The white frame blends into light-coloured ceilings, giving the impression of floating glass globes rather than a heavy metal structure.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Solana provides distributed light across a 2-3m table or a 4-5m island. The 14-globe configuration delivers sufficient output for task and ambient lighting combined, and the fitting is fully dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The 300mm drop from ceiling rose to the bottom of the ring allows the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or worktop depending on ceiling height.

The white powder-coated frame and white glass globes create a tonal monochrome finish that suits Scandinavian, minimalist and contemporary interiors without introducing strong colour or metallic contrast. The fitting takes 14 G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 2-4W per globe for a combined output of 28-56W. Choose 2700K-3000K for warm white or 4000K for neutral white depending on room use.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Not all G9 LEDs dim smoothly, so test a single bulb with your dimmer before purchasing 14.

What size table or island does it suit?

The 850mm diameter works over dining tables 1.8-2.4m long or kitchen islands 2-3m long. For larger islands or tables, two Solana fittings can be installed in sequence.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Solana to dry indoor spaces only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, or covered outdoor areas where moisture is present.
