Description

The Solana is an 11-light suspension fitting built around a 730mm satin brass ring frame that supports eleven blown glass globes, each housing a G9 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately). The amber glass globes diffuse warm light while the circular frame maintains a horizontal plane, distributing light evenly across a wide area beneath the fitting.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living areas with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Solana provides both ambient and decorative lighting across a 2-3m diameter zone. The 300mm drop positions the globes approximately 2m above floor level when hung from a standard 2.7m ceiling, placing the light source at a comfortable height above a typical dining table. The IP20 rating restricts use to indoor dry locations only.

The satin brass finish on the metal ring shows a low-sheen surface that softens reflections compared to polished brass, pairing well with both warm and neutral interior palettes. Each of the eleven blown glass globes sits on a short brass holder welded to the ring at intervals, creating an even spacing pattern. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 LED dimmable bulbs and a trailing-edge dimmer, allowing output to be adjusted for different occasions.

Yes. The suspension cable can be shortened during installation to reduce the 300mm drop if needed for lower ceilings, though this will bring the globes closer to eye level when seated. The cable cannot be lengthened beyond the factory-set 300mm without replacing the cable assembly.
