Description
The Selia is a 4-light chandelier built around a cylindrical arrangement of clear faceted crystal rods, enclosed by a crown of laser-cut chrome plates. The fitting measures 34cm in diameter and 35cm in drop, suspended from a polished chrome canopy on three cables. Four E14 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the crystal cylinder, casting light through the faceted rods and reflecting off the mirrored chrome plates above.
Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Selia works where a compact chandelier is needed without sacrificing presence. The 34cm diameter suits tables in the 1.4-1.8m range, or smaller entrance halls where a larger chandelier would overwhelm the space. The chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses, and the cable length can be adjusted during installation to set the drop 700-900mm above a table surface.
The laser-cut chrome plates form geometric facets around the upper portion of the chandelier, creating angular reflections that change as you move around the fitting. The crystal rods below are machine-cut with vertical facets that split and scatter light across surrounding walls when the bulbs are lit. The combined chrome and crystal give the fitting its 6.1kg weight, so ceiling mounting must go into a joist or use appropriate cavity fixings if mounting to plasterboard.
The polished chrome finish pairs with stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel taps and glass-topped furniture in contemporary kitchens and dining rooms. The crystal rods introduce a decorative layer without the warmth of brass or the softness of fabric shades, so the Selia suits interiors with cooler palettes, high-gloss surfaces and geometric furniture rather than traditional or country-style schemes.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Selia take?
The fitting takes four E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K. The fitting accepts up to 40W per bulb if using halogen or filament candles.
What table size does it suit?
The 34cm diameter works over rectangular tables in the 1.4-1.8m range, or circular tables up to 1.2m diameter. For larger tables a wider chandelier or multiple fittings would provide better light distribution.
Is the drop adjustable?
Yes. The cable can be shortened during installation to set the chandelier height. For dining tables the fitting typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface, depending on ceiling height.
How is the crystal maintained?
The faceted crystal rods can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth when the fitting is switched off and cool. For stubborn dust, a slightly damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the chrome plates or getting moisture inside the bulb holders.
