Description
The Ruvan is a six-arm lead crystal chandelier with a polished chrome frame, faceted crystal drops and a central column of cut crystal glass. Each of the six arms curves outward from the centre, terminating in an upward-facing candle-style SES bulb holder with a chrome finish. The crystal elements include teardrop-shaped pendants, leaf-shaped accents and spherical beads, all suspended from the chrome armature and central stem.
Designed for dining rooms, hallways and medium-sized reception rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the 48cm diameter and 41cm drop suit spaces where a central ceiling light needs to provide both ambient illumination and decorative presence. The chandelier takes six SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs sold separately, each rated up to 40W, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament bulbs depending on the desired light temperature and energy efficiency. The radial arm layout distributes light evenly across a circular area below.
The polished chrome finish on the frame and fittings reflects light from the bulbs and amplifies the sparkle from the faceted lead crystal drops. Each crystal element is individually hung on small metal loops, allowing slight movement when air circulates in the room. The 4kg total weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load and secure fixing into a joist or concrete ceiling. The chandelier pairs with contemporary, transitional and traditional interiors where chrome or silver-toned metalwork is already present in door furniture, taps or lighting accessories.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Ruvan take?
The chandelier takes six SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional glow that complements the crystal.
Can it be fitted to a standard ceiling rose?
Yes, provided the ceiling rose and fixing are rated for the 4kg weight. The chandelier should be fixed into a joist or concrete ceiling using appropriate fixings. If the ceiling is plasterboard only, use a spreading plate or toggle fixings rated for the load.
Is the chandelier dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. LED bulbs must be marked as dimmable to work with a dimmer switch. Halogen and traditional filament bulbs are typically dimmable by default.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off the chandelier and allow it to cool. Wipe each crystal drop with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, individual drops can be removed from their metal loops, washed in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, rinsed and dried before re-hanging. Avoid spraying cleaners directly onto the chrome frame as moisture can collect in the lamp holders.
