Description

The Ripple is a 42cm flush ceiling light with five integrated 5W COB LEDs set behind a faceted crystal diffuser, framed by a polished chrome drum. The crystal surface is cut into rectangular segments arranged in a ripple pattern, each segment angled to catch and refract the LED light across the ceiling and into the room. The chrome band gives the fitting structural definition and reflects ambient light back into the crystal.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms and hallways with ceiling heights below 2.4m or where recessed downlights are not an option, the Ripple provides diffused ambient light without the drop of a pendant fitting. The 19cm total height projects minimally from the ceiling, leaving clearance for tall furniture and maintaining proportions in rooms with standard 2.3-2.4m ceiling heights. The 42cm diameter suits rooms between 12-18m² where a single central ceiling light provides the primary illumination.

The polished chrome finish pairs with both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors, while the crystal diffuser softens the light output to reduce glare on screens and mirrors. The combined weight of the chrome frame and crystal segments gives the fitting a 5.8kg presence, requiring secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard anchor.
