Queenlight 5 Light Crystal Chandelier - Gold

The Queenlight is a 5-light crystal chandelier with a gold-finish metal frame, five curved arms in clear glass, and Czech Republic cut crystal droplets strung between the arms and suspended from the central column. Each arm holds a single SES (small Edison screw) candle bulb fitting with a white candle tube cover. The crystal is faceted octagonal-cut glass, suspended on chains and finished with teardrop pendants.

Designed for smaller dining rooms, entrance halls and bedrooms where ceiling height permits a drop of at least 600mm below the rose, the 45cm diameter and 36cm body height keep the chandelier in proportion with rooms between 3-4m wide. The five arms radiate symmetrically from the central column, with the glass arms curving upward to hold the bulb fittings at approximately the same height as the top of the column. The gold finish on the metalwork provides warm contrast against the clear crystal and glass.

The crystal droplets catch and refract light from the five bulbs, creating moving points of light on walls and ceiling when the chandelier is illuminated. The glass arms are hollow tubes formed into curves, giving the chandelier its structure without the visual weight of solid metal arms. At 4kg total weight, the fitting requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or a reinforced ceiling rose rated to at least 5kg. The chandelier accepts SES bulbs up to 60W each, allowing up to 300W total load across all five fittings.

What bulbs does the Queenlight take?

The chandelier takes five SES (small Edison screw, E14 base) bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to replicate the appearance of candlelight without the heat load of halogen.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 36cm body height plus chain/suspension typically adds 600-800mm drop from ceiling to the bottom of the crystal pendants. Rooms with 2.4m ceiling heights or above work well. The chandelier suits dining tables when hung 700-800mm above the surface, or entrance halls where the lowest point clears head height by at least 200mm.

Is the chandelier dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. LED SES candle bulbs marked as dimmable will work with most trailing-edge dimmers. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail to dim. Traditional halogen SES bulbs are inherently dimmable.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool. Remove dust with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster weekly. For deeper cleaning, wipe each crystal droplet individually with a barely-damp microfibre cloth and distilled water, then dry immediately. Do not spray the chandelier with household cleaners or soak the metalwork.
