Perryn 3 Light Strass Lead Crystal Chandelier - Chrome

The Perryn is a 3-light chandelier built on a polished chrome frame with three curved arms, each supporting a pleated fabric shade trimmed with a fringe of faceted Strass lead crystal droplets. Additional crystal ball droplets hang from the central column and beneath each arm on chains, catching and reflecting light from the three SES bulb fittings (sold separately). The 51cm diameter and 51cm height make it compact enough for bedrooms, dressing rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above.

Designed for small to medium rooms where a traditional chandelier look is wanted without the scale of larger multi-arm models, the Perryn pairs the ornamental language of classic crystal lighting with a diameter and weight suited to domestic ceilings. The pleated shades soften and diffuse the light from each bulb, while the crystal fringe and suspended droplets create the signature sparkle and play of light that defines chandelier lighting. The polished chrome finish on the metalwork suits both contemporary and transitional interiors.

Each of the three arms curves upward and supports a fabric shade held by a chrome frame. The shades are pleated vertically and trimmed at the base with cut crystal droplets threaded on chrome wire. Below each arm and hanging from the central column are larger faceted crystal balls on short chains, adding vertical movement and a focal point beneath the main body of the chandelier. The 6kg total weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load and a secure fixing into timber joists or a solid ceiling.

What bulb does it take?

The Perryn takes three SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit candle-style LED bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light that complements the crystal.

What ceiling height is needed?

At 51cm total height plus chain and canopy, the chandelier suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. It can hang 700-900mm below the ceiling rose depending on the chain length chosen during installation, which keeps it clear of head height in bedrooms and hallways.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

The compact 51cm diameter and height make it more suitable for lower ceilings than larger chandelier models, but rooms below 2.4m ceiling height may find the chandelier intrusive unless the chain is minimised or the fitting is installed in an area with no foot traffic directly beneath.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the fabric shades or using household sprays which can damage both the crystal finish and the pleated fabric.
