Description

The Pavelle is a 12-light chandelier built on a two-tier polished chrome frame with clear glass arms and cascading crystal droplets. The upper tier carries three arms, the lower tier carries nine, all arranged around a central column formed from stacked clear glass spheres and finials. Each of the twelve arms terminates in an SES (E14) candle-style bulb holder with a shallow glass drip tray beneath, and the frame suspends white opaque crystal ball drops from each arm curve.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, dining rooms with ceiling heights above 3m, and stairwell voids where the full 103cm drop can be appreciated, the Pavelle fills vertical space without appearing heavy. The 89cm diameter suits rooms 4-5m wide. The polished chrome reflects ambient light from windows and adjacent fittings, while the clear glass and crystal amplify brightness without adding colour or warmth. The twelve SES bulbs (sold separately) allow flexibility in colour temperature and wattage up to 40W per socket.

The chandelier weighs 20kg when fully assembled, which requires a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point capable of carrying that load safely. The clear glass arms are hand-blown Czech glass, so minor variations in wall thickness and bubble distribution are normal. The crystal droplets are precision-cut faceted glass rather than lead crystal, giving sharp light refraction without the weight or fragility of traditional crystal chandeliers. The chrome finish is a high-polish plate that requires occasional dusting to maintain reflectivity but resists tarnishing in typical indoor humidity.

The Pavelle takes twelve SES (E14 small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this chandelier with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft, traditional look.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 103cm drop suits ceiling heights of 3m or above. In rooms with 2.4-2.7m ceilings the chandelier will hang too low and dominate the space. The fitting is designed for double-height entrance halls, stairwells and formal dining rooms with high ceilings.

Can the chain be shortened?

Yes. The suspension chain can be shortened during installation to reduce the overall drop, though shortening significantly will compress the visual proportions of the two-tier design. Consult a qualified electrician before modifying the chain length.

How is the glass and crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool fully. Wipe the glass arms and chrome frame with a dry microfibre cloth. For the crystal droplets, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works for stubborn marks, but avoid soaking the metal fixings. Do not use household sprays or polishes on the chrome or glass.
