Description

The Oceans is a 40cm flush-mount ceiling light with a polished chrome circular frame from which multiple strands of faceted crystal droplets hang in varying lengths. An integrated 5W LED module sits behind the chrome base plate, casting light through and around the crystal strands to create both direct downlight and refracted sparkle across the ceiling and walls.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or below where a pendant would hang too low, the Oceans sits 25cm from ceiling to lowest crystal point and provides ambient light with decorative sparkle. It suits hallways, bedrooms, bathroom dressing areas (check IP rating if installing in zones 1-3), walk-in wardrobes, and compact landings where a traditional chandelier would overwhelm the space. The 40cm diameter fits comfortably in rooms 2.5-4m wide without dominating the ceiling plane.

The chrome finish is polished to a high gloss, reflecting surrounding light and amplifying the refraction from the crystal droplets. Each faceted crystal strand catches ambient daylight and artificial light from other sources in the room, creating depth and movement that changes depending on viewing angle. The integrated 5W LED cannot be replaced, so the fitting has a finite service life determined by the LED module (typically 15,000-20,000 hours depending on use).
