Description
Nenúfares II is an 80x120cm botanical photography print on 4mm tempered glass, depicting white lotus flowers and broad sage-green lily pads on still water. The photograph captures the soft translucency of white petals against the muted greens and greys of the water surface, with visible stems and seed heads extending from the foliage. The glass substrate gives the print a light-reflective surface that changes subtly depending on the room's lighting and viewing angle.
Designed for bathrooms, bedrooms and treatment rooms where a calm visual anchor is needed, the print works in spa-style spaces, biophilic interiors and coastal homes. The horizontal 3:2 aspect ratio suits wall areas above a bathtub, behind a bed headboard, or on a feature wall in a hallway. The included hanging ironwork mounts directly to the reverse of the glass panel and requires two wall fixings capable of supporting the 9.6kg weight.
The tempered glass construction provides impact resistance and durability in humid environments where a canvas or paper print would deteriorate. The photographic detail remains sharp across the full 120cm width, with individual water droplets, petal veins and leaf textures visible at close range. The palette of soft whites, sage greens and cool greys pairs with neutral, coastal and Japandi interiors without competing with other decorative elements in the room.
Schuller produces this print as part of a botanical photography collection that includes other water-garden and floral subjects. The Nenúfares II composition balances the visual weight of the large lily pads with the delicate detail of the open flowers, creating a focal point that draws the eye without overwhelming a quiet space.

Frequently Asked
Can this print be used in a bathroom?
Yes. The tempered glass construction is moisture-resistant and suitable for humid environments including bathrooms, provided the hanging fixings are appropriate for the wall type and the print is not mounted directly in a shower enclosure where it would be subject to regular direct water spray.
How is the print mounted to the wall?
The included hanging ironwork attaches to the reverse of the glass panel. Two wall fixings (not included) are required, and they must be capable of supporting the 9.6kg weight. Suitable fixings depend on your wall construction — use heavy-duty picture hooks on solid walls or toggle/cavity fixings on plasterboard.
Is the glass breakable?
The print is made from tempered glass, which is heat-treated for impact resistance and is approximately four times stronger than standard glass. If it does break under extreme impact, it shatters into small granular pieces rather than large sharp shards, reducing injury risk.
Can the print be hung vertically instead of horizontally?
The composition is designed for horizontal orientation and the hanging ironwork is positioned for this. Rotating it to vertical would require repositioning the fixings and would change the intended visual balance of the photograph.
