The Moryn is an 8-light Georgian-style crystal chandelier built around a chrome frame with precision-cut Strass crystal droplets cascading from each arm and a central column. Eight white candle tubes sit on scrolled arms radiating from a glass-cut central stem, with crystal bobeches beneath each bulb holder and multiple strands of faceted crystal connecting the arms to the column and canopy.

Designed for formal dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Moryn provides both ambient light from the eight bulbs and decorative sparkle from the crystal. The 50cm diameter and 46cm drop suit rooms of 16-20m² where the chandelier can hang centrally without overwhelming the space. Each arm takes a single SES bulb up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose warm filament-style LEDs or clear candle bulbs depending on the desired effect.

The chrome finish provides a cooler-toned metal that pairs with polished nickel, stainless steel and contemporary mirror frames, offering an alternative to the warmer brass or gold finishes common in Georgian revival lighting. The Strass crystal is precision-cut with multiple facets that refract light when the chandelier is lit and catch natural daylight during the day. What bulbs does the Moryn take?

The chandelier takes eight SES (small Edison screw, E14 base) bulbs, each up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional look, though clear filament-style LEDs also work well.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 46cm drop suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above when hung over a dining table or in an entrance hall. For a typical dining room the chandelier hangs 750-850mm above the table surface, requiring a minimum 2.4m ceiling height to avoid low clearance when standing.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Isolate the power before cleaning. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a dry microfibre cloth or use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for more stubborn marks. Avoid household sprays or chemical cleaners, which can leave residue on the facets and dull the refraction.

Can the chain length be adjusted?
