Description
The Morphia is a 150x100cm architectural photograph printed on 4mm tempered glass, capturing a spiral structure in high-contrast monochrome. The image shows concentric layers receding into a central vortex, with precise curved lines dividing white and black zones. The glass substrate adds depth to the photograph, creating a faint three-dimensional effect where light reflects differently off the printed and unprinted areas.
Designed for contemporary residential and commercial interiors, the Morphia fits large wall areas in living rooms, office reception spaces, bedrooms with high ceilings, and hotel corridors. The 150cm width makes it suitable for walls 2m or wider where a single large-format piece anchors the space. Hanging ironwork is included; the 14.2kg weight requires secure wall fixings into solid masonry or stud-located plasterboard anchors.
The tempered glass surface is more durable than standard glass and resists minor impacts, though it should not be installed in high-traffic areas where accidental collision is likely. The monochrome palette pairs with both warm and cool interiors, and the spiral geometry complements rectilinear furniture and architectural features by introducing curved visual rhythm. The glass can be cleaned with a standard glass cleaner and microfibre cloth.
Morphia is part of the Schuller wall art collection, produced in Spain. The spiral motif is a recurring theme in mid-century architectural photography and suits interiors influenced by Brutalism, mid-century modernism, and contemporary minimalism.

Frequently Asked
What wall fixings are needed for the 14.2kg weight?
The included hanging ironwork requires secure wall fixings. For solid masonry walls, use heavy-duty wall plugs and screws rated to at least 20kg. For plasterboard walls, locate studs and fix directly into the timber frame, or use metal plasterboard anchors rated to the same load.
Is the tempered glass fragile?
Tempered glass is stronger than standard glass and resists minor impacts, but it remains a glass product and will shatter if subjected to a sharp blow or dropped. The 4mm thickness provides reasonable durability for wall-mounted use in low-traffic areas.
How is the glass surface cleaned?
Use a standard glass cleaner or a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and distilled water with a soft microfibre cloth. Spray onto the cloth rather than directly onto the glass to avoid drips behind the print. Wipe in one direction to reduce streaking.
What wall colour works best with the monochrome spiral?
The high contrast between black and white zones in the photograph reads well against pale grey, off-white, charcoal and matt black wall colours. Avoid busy patterned wallpapers or strong accent colours that compete with the spiral geometry.
