Description
The Maris is a 600mm crystal chandelier with twelve E14 bulb positions set within a polished chrome circular frame, surrounded by three tiers of faceted crystal droplets arranged in continuous wave-link loops. The crystal elements are teardrop-shaped with multi-faceted cuts, and they hang from chrome linking rings that create an undulating pattern around the full circumference of the fitting.
Designed for dining rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, entrance halls, and double-height living spaces, the Maris acts as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 12 bulbs (sold separately, max 40W each) sit behind and within the crystal tiers, so when lit the faceted surfaces refract and multiply the light sources across the room. The 220mm drop from canopy to the base of the crystals is modest relative to the 600mm diameter, giving the fitting a low-profile drum silhouette rather than a tall cascade.
The polished chrome frame provides a reflective metallic backdrop that amplifies the crystal sparkle without competing visually, the metal stays minimal while the three-tiered crystal arrangement dominates. At 12.3kg the fitting has substantial weight and requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or rated ceiling rose. The wave-link crystal pattern gives the Maris a mid-century glam aesthetic that pairs well with monochrome interiors, Art Deco-inspired rooms, and spaces where a decorative centrepiece is needed without overwhelming the ceiling plane.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Maris uses twelve E14 SES (Small Edison Screw) bulbs, each rated up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this fitting with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K to achieve bright ambient light with minimal heat output.
What ceiling height is needed?
The fitting has a 220mm drop from canopy to the lowest crystal point. For a dining table the light typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 600mm diameter also requires adequate clearance from walls, ideally positioned centrally in a room at least 3m x 3m.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Each crystal droplet is faceted and linked via chrome rings. Dust settles in the facets over time. The fitting should be switched off and allowed to cool, then each crystal wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, individual crystals can be unhooked from the linking rings, washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, dried thoroughly and re-attached.
Is the fitting dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. The fitting itself is not inherently dimmable. If you fit dimmable LED or halogen E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch, the light output can be controlled. Confirm dimmer compatibility with the specific bulb manufacturer before installation.
