Description

The Lunara is a 40cm diameter crystal chandelier with a domed chrome shade suspended above a cascade of cut crystal droplets. Five G9 bulb fittings sit inside the dome, each rated to 28W maximum, and the crystal droplets below the dome refract and scatter the light into points across the room. The polished chrome canopy and suspension cables allow the shade to hang 32cm below the ceiling fixing point.

Designed for dining tables in rooms with 2.4m or higher ceilings, the Lunara works as a centrepiece where both ambient and decorative light are needed. The dome acts as a reflector, directing light downward through the crystal droplets and outward into the room, while the chrome finish captures and reflects surrounding colours and tones. The 40cm diameter suits tables seating four to six people, and the 4.7kg weight requires a standard ceiling rose capable of supporting a decorative pendant.

The chrome finish is a high-polish electroplated surface that shows fingerprints during installation but cleans with a soft dry cloth once fitted. The crystal droplets are faceted acrylic rather than glass, making them lighter and safer in the event of accidental impact. The suspension cables are adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set closer to or further from the ceiling depending on room height and the desired visual effect.

The Lunara uses five G9 capsule bulbs, each rated to a maximum of 28W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 2-4W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining light.

Are the crystal droplets glass or acrylic?

The droplets are faceted acrylic rather than glass. Acrylic is lighter, which reduces the load on the ceiling fixing, and is safer in homes with children or in the event of accidental impact.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The suspension cables are adjustable during installation, allowing the pendant to be set closer to or further from the ceiling depending on room height and the desired position above a dining table or surface.

How is the chrome finish cleaned?

Wipe with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid household sprays or polishes that can damage the electroplated surface or leave streaks.
