The Luminique is a 150cm vertical flush ceiling light built from stacked clear crystal cylinders arranged around a central chrome rod, with a single GU10 LED bulb at the top of the tube. The 15cm diameter cylinder drops 1.5m from the ceiling rose, making it a vertical accent rather than a general ambient source. Each crystal cylinder is precision-cut to catch and redirect light down the column, creating prism effects and controlled reflections on surrounding walls.

Designed for stairwells, double-height entrance halls, and narrow corridors with ceiling heights of 3m or higher, the Luminique works best where vertical space can be used without the fitting obstructing head height. The flush ceiling mounting sits close to the ceiling rose, so the entire 150cm drop hangs below that point. Multiple units can be spaced along a corridor or stairwell to create a repeated vertical rhythm, or a single fitting can mark a transition point between rooms.

The chrome frame holding the crystal stack gives the fitting its 12kg weight, so installation requires a ceiling rose or fixing point rated to support that load. The crystal cylinders are arranged in tiers around the rod, with each tier separated by chrome mounting rings that stabilise the column and prevent lateral movement. The GU10 LED bulb at the head directs light downward through the crystal, which diffuses and refracts it as it travels through the tube. The chrome finish is polished rather than brushed, so it reflects ambient room light and maintains a high-contrast edge against the clear crystal.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 150cm drop requires a minimum ceiling height of 3m to avoid the bottom of the crystal tube sitting below typical head height. The fitting works best in double-height entrance halls, stairwells, and corridors where the vertical space can accommodate the full drop without obstruction.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The chrome rod and mounting rings can be cleaned with a soft cloth and standard chrome cleaner.

Can it support the 12kg weight on a standard ceiling rose?

The 12kg weight requires a ceiling rose or fixing point rated to support that load. Most modern ceiling roses are rated to 5kg, so this fitting may require additional structural support or a reinforced ceiling rose.
