The Lumen is a 12-light chandelier built on a vertical stem with three tiers of matt black arms radiating from a central polished chrome core, each arm terminating in a clear glass globe with a G9 bulb fitting inside. The chandelier measures 70cm in diameter and 112cm in height, with the glass globes arranged in groups of four per tier at different vertical intervals along the stem.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Lumen takes twelve G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. G9 bulbs are available in halogen (typically 25-40W) or LED equivalents (2-5W). The choice between clear, frosted or filament-style G9 bulbs significantly affects the visual character when the chandelier is lit, as the clear glass globes do not conceal the bulb.

What ceiling height is needed?

With a 112cm overall height, the Lumen is designed for ceiling heights of 3m or above. In a stairwell or double-height entrance hall it can hang into the void without obstructing head clearance. In a single-storey room with a standard 2.4m ceiling, the chandelier would hang too low for safe passage underneath.

Is the chandelier dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the G9 bulbs used. Halogen G9 bulbs are universally dimmable with standard trailing-edge dimmers. LED G9 bulbs must be marked as dimmable and paired with a compatible LED dimmer — not all G9 LEDs support dimming.

How is it assembled?

The Lumen ships in component form. The black arms attach to the central chrome stem at three different height points, and each arm carries a glass globe with a G9 lamp holder inside. Assembly requires connecting the wiring for all twelve lamp holders before final installation, so an electrician familiar with multi-light pendant wiring is recommended.
