Description
The Luma is a 75cm flush ceiling light with twelve G9 bulbs set behind concentric tiers of precision-cut crystal pyramids on a polished gold circular frame. The 26cm profile sits close to the ceiling, making it a flush-fitting option for rooms where a traditional chandelier would hang too low or dominate the space. Each crystal pyramid is facet-cut to refract light across walls and ceilings when the bulbs are lit.
Designed for dining rooms, master bedrooms, entrance halls and lounges with ceiling heights of 2.4-2.7m, the Luma provides decorative impact without the drop of a suspended fitting. The twelve G9 bulbs spread evenly across the frame, giving broad light distribution rather than a single central source. The polished gold finish on the metal base reflects warm tones back through the crystal, creating a warmer overall colour cast than chrome or nickel equivalents.
At 17.9kg the Luma requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard anchor — it is substantially heavier than most flush fittings due to the mass of crystal. The gold frame pairs with warm interior palettes, brass door furniture, heritage colours and period detailing, while the crystal density gives it a formal, dressed quality that suits traditional and classical schemes. The 26cm height means it projects further than minimal flush lights, so allow clearance if the fitting will sit above tall furniture or door swings.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Luma takes twelve G9 capsule bulbs, each rated to a maximum of 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose LED G9 capsules rated 3-5W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient dining room or bedroom lighting.
Is it suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The 26cm height makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, where a chandelier drop would bring the lowest point into headspace. The flush-mounted design keeps the light close to the ceiling plane.
How is the fitting secured to the ceiling?
At 17.9kg the Luma must be fixed into a ceiling joist or using heavy-duty plasterboard anchors rated for the weight. A standard ceiling rose fixing is not sufficient — the installer will need to locate solid timber or use spreading toggle anchors in plasterboard.
Can the crystals be cleaned?
Yes. Switch off the mains and allow bulbs to cool fully. Wipe each crystal pyramid with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but avoid soaking the metal frame or allowing water into the bulb holders.
