Description

The Lucent is a 6-light crystal chandelier built around a central polished chrome column with six curved arms radiating outward and upward, each supporting a candle-style SES bulb holder. Faceted teardrop crystals hang beneath each arm on fine chrome chains, catching and refracting light when the chandelier is lit. The frame measures 73cm in diameter and 58cm in height, giving it presence without overwhelming typical dining room or living room ceilings.

Designed for formal dining rooms, medium-sized living rooms, and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Lucent pairs decorative and ambient lighting. The six SES bulbs (sold separately) can be fitted with warm-white LED candle bulbs for a soft wash or clear filament bulbs to emphasise the crystal refraction. The 73cm spread suits rooms around 4.5m by 4.5m or larger, hanging 700-900mm above a dining table or as a central ceiling feature in a lounge.

The polished chrome finish provides a high-reflective surface that pairs with contemporary, transitional and mid-century interiors. Each crystal droplet is faceted on multiple planes, scattering light when the bulbs are on and adding visual texture when off. What bulbs does the Lucent take?

The chandelier takes six SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulbs, each rated to a maximum of 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light.

What room size does it suit?

The 73cm diameter suits dining rooms and living rooms around 4.5m by 4.5m or larger. In smaller rooms the chandelier can appear too large; in rooms exceeding 6m square it may lack visual weight unless paired with additional lighting.

How is the height adjusted?

The chandelier suspends on an adjustable chain or rod (check the Specification tab for the exact suspension type included). The chain can be shortened during installation to lower the chandelier to the correct height above a table or seating area.

How are the crystals cleaned?

Switch off the power and allow the bulbs to cool. Wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, then dry immediately. Do not use glass cleaner sprays as residue can dull the chrome or leave streaks on the crystals.
