Description

The Lios 4 Light Island Pendant combines a chrome linear bar with four clear glass cube shades, each encased in a geometric copper wire frame. Four G9 bulb fittings (bulbs sold separately) sit inside the glass cubes, with the copper wire grids creating shadow patterns and visual texture when the light is on. The chrome bar and canopy provide structural contrast to the warm copper accents.

Designed for positioning over kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, the Lios hangs from adjustable cables that allow the drop to be set anywhere between 30cm and 140cm from the ceiling. The 98cm bar length suits tables or islands between 150-200cm long, sitting far enough above the surface to avoid head clearance issues while providing directed downlight across the length of the table. IP20 rating makes this suitable for dry interior spaces only.

The combination of polished chrome, clear moulded glass and bare copper wire gives the fitting an industrial-meets-contemporary character that works in both warm metallics-focused interiors and cooler grey or white schemes. The copper wire cubes are hand-wrapped, so the exact pattern and spacing of the wire varies slightly between individual fittings. At 2.5kg, the pendant is light enough for standard plasterboard ceiling fixings with appropriate anchors.

What bulbs does the Lios take?

The fitting takes four G9 capsule bulbs up to 10W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs at 2700K-3000K for dining spaces.

What drop height works best over a dining table?

The cables are adjustable between 30cm and 140cm. For a standard dining table, positioning the fitting 70-85cm above the table surface provides good light distribution without obstructing sightlines across the table. Adjust on installation to suit your ceiling height.

Can the copper wire frames be removed?

No. The copper wire cubes are fixed around each glass shade as part of the design structure. They are not removable or replaceable independently.

Is the Lios suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry interior spaces. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, utility rooms, or any location with moisture or steam.
