The Glacia is a 73cm track lighting base in a copper finish, designed as a mounting rail for adjustable spotlight heads. The metal rail sits 35mm proud of the ceiling or wall and provides a single-circuit track system that accepts compatible GU10 or E27 spotlight fittings, allowing light direction to be adjusted after installation.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, gallery walls and retail spaces where directed task or accent lighting is needed, the Glacia track suits rooms where the lighting requirement changes over time. Spotlight heads can be repositioned along the 73cm rail without rewiring, making it practical for illuminating artwork, worktops, or display shelving where the layout may shift. The track mounts to ceiling joists or wall surfaces using the supplied bracket system.

The copper finish on the aluminium body provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with industrial, mid-century and contemporary interiors. The track accepts standard Ideal Lux spotlight heads sold separately, giving flexibility to choose the beam angle, wattage and finish of the individual light fittings. The 73cm length suits single-zone lighting in kitchens measuring 3-4m or focused accent lighting over a 2-seater sofa or workspace desk.

Does the kit include spotlight heads?

No. The Glacia is the track base only. Compatible Ideal Lux spotlight heads with GU10 or E27 fittings are sold separately and clip onto the rail once installed.

Can spotlight heads be repositioned after installation?

Yes. Once the track is mounted and wired, individual spotlight heads can be slid along the rail and locked in position without needing to access the wiring. This allows the lighting layout to be adjusted as room use changes.

What circuit does the track provide?

The Glacia is a single-circuit track, meaning all spotlight heads attached to the rail are controlled by the same switch. For independent control of different zones, multiple tracks on separate circuits are required.

Can it be mounted on a wall as well as a ceiling?

Yes. The track can be mounted horizontally on a wall to create wash lighting or to illuminate shelving and artwork. The 35mm projection allows spotlight heads to clear the wall surface and direct light downwards or outwards.
