The Floren is a 150cm tall crystal floor lamp with two cylindrical shades stacked vertically on a polished chrome stem, each shade filled with cascading faceted crystal drops that refract the integrated 6W LED light. The chrome frame rises from a circular 44cm-diameter base weighted to 7.1kg, giving the lamp stability without requiring wall fixing or additional anchoring.

Designed as accent lighting rather than primary room illumination, the Floren suits reading corners next to armchairs, bedside positions in place of table lamps, and hallway niches where vertical height draws the eye upward. The two shades direct light both upward and downward, casting soft ambient glow through the crystal while the faceted surfaces throw small refracted highlights onto nearby walls and ceilings when the lamp is switched on.

The chrome finish is polished to a high shine, reflecting surrounding colours and finishes during daylight and adding a mirror-like accent to modern and contemporary interiors. Each cylindrical shade measures approximately 130mm in diameter and contains multiple tiers of cut crystal drops suspended on fine metal frames inside the glass cylinder. The integrated LED is rated at 6W total output across both shades, providing warm-toned decorative light rather than task-level brightness.

Is the LED replaceable?

The Floren uses an integrated LED module rather than a standard screw-in bulb. The LED is rated for a typical lifespan of 20,000-25,000 hours. How bright is the 6W output?

The 6W LED is designed for ambient and decorative lighting rather than high-brightness task illumination. The light is diffused through the crystal drops and glass cylinders, creating soft warm glow suitable for accent lighting in living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. It is not bright enough to serve as the primary light source in a typical room.

Is the base stable on carpet?

The 44cm circular base weighs 7.1kg, giving the lamp a low centre of gravity and good stability on both hard floors and short-pile carpets. On thick or shag-pile carpet the base may sink slightly, but the weight distribution should still prevent tipping under normal use. Avoid placing the lamp where it might be knocked by passing traffic.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and unplug the lamp before cleaning. Use a dry microfibre cloth to dust the chrome frame and wipe each crystal drop gently. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used on the glass cylinders and crystals, but avoid soaking the metal frames or allowing water to enter the LED housing.
