Description
The Fiora is a 30cm semi-flush ceiling light built around hand-moulded botanical metalwork finished in antique white. Three SES bulb fittings sit within a frame of metal leaves, vines and flower petals, forming a decorative bowl that mounts flush to the ceiling with only 20cm projection. Each element of the metalwork is individually shaped and welded, creating slight variation in the curvature and positioning of the foliage between fittings.
Designed for bedrooms, dressing rooms, small sitting rooms and hallways with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.6m, the Fiora provides overhead light without the drop of a pendant. The three-bulb configuration delivers functional illumination across a 3m x 3m space when fitted with 40-60W SES bulbs (sold separately), while the botanical metalwork casts shadows onto the ceiling that shift throughout the day depending on natural light angle. The semi-flush mount suits period properties, French country interiors, and contemporary spaces using soft palettes and natural materials.
The antique white finish is a muted off-white with a slightly chalky texture that reduces glare from the metal surface under direct light. The finish pairs with cream, soft grey, duck egg blue and weathered wood tones, and complements both polished plaster ceilings and painted timber boards. At 2.1kg the fitting requires secure fixing into a ceiling joist or onto a spreader plate across multiple joists — the mounting plate is 100mm diameter and accommodates standard UK ceiling roses.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Fiora uses three SES (Small Edison Screw, E14 base) bulbs, each up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers fit 40W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K to balance light output with the decorative metalwork.
What ceiling height does it suit?
The 20cm projection from ceiling to base of the fitting works best in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.6m. Lower ceilings may find the fitting slightly intrusive; higher ceilings may benefit from a pendant instead.
Is the antique white finish painted or powder-coated?
The finish is applied as a chalky paint over the metalwork, giving a muted off-white tone with slight texture. This is intentional and part of the design aesthetic — not a defect.
How is the fitting secured to the ceiling?
At 2.1kg the Fiora requires fixing into a ceiling joist or onto a spreader plate spanning multiple joists. The 100mm mounting plate accommodates standard UK ceiling roses and the wiring connects via a terminal block inside the canopy.
