Description

The Energizer 3-Step CCT flush ceiling light is a 300mm diameter LED fitting with integrated 15W LED and three selectable colour temperatures: warm white 2700K, cool white 4000K and daylight 6000K. The colour temperature is adjusted using the wall switch — a quick off-on sequence cycles between the three settings, and the fitting remembers the last setting used even after being switched off for extended periods.

Designed for residential rooms where ceiling height or aesthetic preference favours a low-profile fitting, the flush light sits 85mm deep from the ceiling surface with the chrome trim fitted, or 85mm without the optional trim (which is removable). The 300mm diameter suits bedrooms, hallways, home offices, bathrooms (zone 3 only), and utility rooms. The opal diffuser spreads 1300 lumens across a 120-degree beam angle, providing general ambient lighting rather than directional task light.

The white polycarbonate body and removable chrome trim give a clean modern appearance that pairs with white ceilings and neutral interiors. The IP20 rating makes the fitting suitable for dry indoor zones 2 and 3 — acceptable for bathrooms outside the immediate shower or bath zone, but not for damp outdoor or zone 1 wet-area applications. Installation requires connection to mains 230V via a standard ceiling rose or junction box; the fitting does not require a separate driver or transformer.

The 15W LED delivers 87 lumens per watt, equivalent to approximately 100W of incandescent output. The fitting is not dimmable via standard dimmer switches, but the three-step CCT function provides control over light tone without needing additional equipment. The chrome trim clips onto the white body after the main fitting is secured to the ceiling, allowing the trim to be removed for redecorating without disconnecting the wiring.

How do I change the colour temperature?

Turn the light off at the wall switch, then back on within 2-3 seconds. The fitting cycles through 2700K warm white, 4000K cool white and 6000K daylight. The last setting used is saved and will be the default when the light is next switched on normally.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

Yes, in zones 2 and 3 only. The IP20 rating means it cannot be installed directly above a bath or shower (zone 1) or in outdoor damp areas. It is suitable for bathroom ceilings away from direct water spray.

Is the chrome trim removable?

Yes. The chrome trim clips onto the white body after the main fitting is secured to the ceiling. It can be removed for painting or redecorating and refitted without disconnecting the wiring.

What size room does this suit?

The 1300 lumens and 300mm diameter work well as primary lighting in rooms up to approximately 10-12 square metres (a 3m x 4m bedroom or 3m x 3m bathroom). Larger rooms may benefit from two fittings or supplementary task lighting.
