Description
The Dione is a 52cm diameter crystal chandelier with six G9 bulb fittings arranged within a polished chrome drum frame. Vertical crystal rods and beads hang in parallel rows around the perimeter and inner core, creating a cylindrical shade that diffuses light through the faceted glass. The pendant hangs from three wire cables fixed to a circular chrome ceiling rose.
Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Dione provides both ambient and decorative light. The 52cm diameter suits tables 1.2-1.8m long or kitchen islands 1.5-2m in length, typically hung 700-800mm above the surface. The six G9 bulbs (sold separately) can be specified as LED or halogen depending on whether dimmability is needed.
The crystal rods catch and refract light from the internal bulbs, creating a pattern of bright points and softer glow across surrounding walls and ceilings. The polished chrome frame reflects ambient room light during daylight hours, giving the fitting presence even when switched off. At 6.9kg, the pendant requires secure fixing to a joist or ceiling reinforcement, the three-cable suspension distributes the load but standard plasterboard ceiling roses are insufficient without additional support.
The chrome finish pairs with both warm and cool interior palettes, working equally well in modern grey-toned kitchens and warmer brass-accented dining rooms. The crystal requires occasional dusting with a dry microfibre cloth; the polished chrome can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth but avoid abrasive cleaners that will scratch the mirror finish.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Dione takes six G9 capsule bulbs with a maximum combined wattage of 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose LED G9 bulbs rated 3-5W each in 2700K-3000K warm white for dining applications.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the G9 bulbs you fit. LED G9 bulbs labelled as 'dimmable' will work with most trailing-edge dimmers, while halogen G9 bulbs typically dim with any standard dimmer. Check the bulb packaging before pairing with a dimmer switch.
What ceiling support is needed?
At 6.9kg, the Dione requires fixing to a joist or ceiling reinforcement. Standard plasterboard ceiling roses will not support the weight safely. If your ceiling rose is not directly above a joist, you will need to install additional support between joists before fitting the pendant.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Dust the crystal rods with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, remove individual crystal strands if the design allows and wipe gently with a barely-damp cloth, then dry immediately. The polished chrome frame can be wiped with a damp cloth but avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers that will scratch the mirror finish.
