Description
The Dione is a 42cm flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome drum with vertical crystal rods and layered crystal droplets arranged in concentric circles. Five G9 bulbs (sold separately, max 33W each) sit inside the drum, with light refracting through the crystal to cast prismatic patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings.
Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.5m where a pendant would hang too low, the Dione sits 21cm from ceiling to base, making it suitable for bedrooms, hallways, guest rooms and compact lounges. The flush mounting keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane, avoiding headroom issues in low-ceiling properties while the crystal surround maintains decorative presence. The 42cm diameter works in rooms up to 12-14 square metres without overwhelming the space.
The crystal elements are arranged in two layers: vertical rods around the outer edge of the chrome drum, and shorter droplet chains below the drum. When lit, the vertical rods diffuse light outwards while the droplets refract light downwards, giving both ambient wash and directed illumination. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with modern, transitional and contemporary interiors where mirrored or metallic accents are already present.

Frequently Asked
What ceiling height does this suit?
The Dione is designed for low ceilings between 2.2m and 2.5m where a pendant would hang too low or create headroom issues. The 21cm projection from ceiling to base keeps the fitting tight to the ceiling plane.
What bulbs does it take?
Five G9 bulbs, sold separately, with a maximum wattage of 33W per bulb. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs between 3-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light in bedrooms or hallways.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb type chosen. G9 LED bulbs marked as 'dimmable' will work with most modern dimmer switches, but non-dimmable G9 LEDs will not. Check the bulb packaging before pairing with a dimmer.
How is the crystal cleaned?
Switch off the power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Wipe each crystal rod and droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the metal frame or getting moisture into the bulb holders.
