Description

The Dexlan is a 5 light chandelier built around five curved arms radiating from a satin nickel central column, each arm supporting a white alabaster glass bowl. The alabaster diffuses light softly in all directions, turning each of the five E27 bulbs (sold separately) into an ambient rather than directional source. The arms curve outward and upward in symmetrical arcs, giving the chandelier a 70cm diameter footprint and a 61cm drop including the chain.

Designed for dining rooms with 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights, the Dexlan sits centred over a dining table or in the middle of a square lounge where it can be seen from multiple angles. The satin nickel finish gives a brushed, low-sheen surface that sits between the warmth of brass and the coolness of polished chrome, pairing with both warm and cool-toned interiors. The five-arm configuration provides even light distribution across a table seating six to eight people when fitted with 6-10W warm-white LED bulbs.

The alabaster glass is moulded rather than carved, giving a consistent thickness and a slightly translucent white finish that hides the bulb itself while letting the light through. At 7kg the chandelier requires a ceiling rose rated for the weight and a suitable fixing into a ceiling joist or structural support. The E27 bulb holders accept standard Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each, though most users pair this chandelier with LED equivalents of 40-60W incandescent output for comfortable dining-level illumination.
