Clasera 5 Light Iron Chandelier - Black Gold

The Clasera is a 5-light iron chandelier with five upward-curving arms arranged in a radial pattern around a central column, each arm ending in a candle-style holder that takes a single SES bulb (sold separately). The arms are forged iron with a black gold finish—a blackened base with warm golden undertones showing through the surface—and each arm connects to the column via a decorative scroll detail.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living room settings with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Clasera works well suspended 700-900mm above a dining table or positioned centrally in a room where the open frame allows sightlines through to the ceiling. The 62cm diameter suits tables of 1.4-1.8m length or spaces where a medium-scale fitting is needed without overwhelming the room. The black chain suspension conceals the cable and adjusts on installation to set the drop height.

The open structure and scrolled detailing give the fitting a traditional, handcrafted character that pairs with farmhouse, cottage and period interiors. The black gold finish provides visual warmth compared to plain matt black, with the golden undertones catching natural daylight and candlelight-effect bulbs. What bulb does the Clasera take?

Each of the five arms takes a single SES (E14 small Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this chandelier with candle-style LED bulbs at 4-6W and 2700K for a warm traditional look.

What size room does it suit?

The 62cm diameter works well in dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms up to around 20m². For dining tables, the chandelier suits table lengths of 1.4-1.8m when hung 700-900mm above the surface.

Is the black gold finish solid or distressed?

The finish is applied as a blackened base with warm golden undertones showing through, giving an antique or aged appearance. The finish is consistent across the arms and column but the handcrafted nature of the iron means slight variation in tone is normal.

Can the chain length be adjusted?

Yes. The black chain can be shortened during installation to set the drop height appropriate to your ceiling. The fitting height of 39.5cm is measured from the canopy to the base of the chandelier, excluding the chain length.
