Description
This 80x120cm canvas LED painting depicts an abstract cello musician silhouette rendered in bold crimson, black and ivory tones against a dark background. A decorative LED strip is embedded into the frame, outlining the figure's form and the cello's curved body with soft white light that turns the artwork into both wall art and ambient lighting.
The canvas print is mounted on board and framed in a black surround measuring 4cm deep, giving the piece enough projection to house the LED strip at the edge without additional fittings. The LED runs on mains power via a plug, with an inline switch for on/off control — no batteries, no USB charging. Designed for living rooms, music studios, creative office spaces and media rooms where art and lighting overlap, the piece works as a focal point on a large wall or as a vertical accent in a hallway or stairwell.
The silhouette itself is not photographic but illustrative, using geometric shapes and layered colour gradients to suggest posture, movement and the deep curve of the cello's body. The crimson tones sit warm against the black, while the LED outline adds dimension and draws the eye to the musician's gesture. The framed depth allows the piece to be hung on a standard picture hook; total weight is 5kg.

Frequently Asked
How is the LED powered?
The LED strip runs on mains power via a plug with an inline switch. It does not use batteries or USB charging. The cable exits from the back of the frame, so the piece should be hung near a socket or routed through cable management.
Can the LED be turned off?
Yes. The inline switch on the cable allows the LED to be turned on or off independently of the mains socket. The artwork can be displayed with or without the lighting effect.
What wall fixings are needed?
The framed piece weighs 5kg and has a standard hanging bracket on the reverse. A single picture hook rated for 5-7kg on a solid wall is sufficient. On plasterboard or hollow walls, use a toggle or cavity fixing.
Is the print on canvas or paper?
The image is printed on canvas, mounted onto board, and framed in a black surround. This gives the piece texture and depth that paper prints do not offer.
