Description

The Brindle is a 5-light iron chandelier with upward-facing candle-style holders mounted on curved arms that rise from a central circular hub, finished in matt black. Each arm extends outward and upward in a gentle arc, terminating in a candle cup with scroll detailing. The chandelier uses SES (E14) bulbs up to 60W per socket (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose filament, LED or halogen depending on the light temperature and brightness required.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and sitting rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Brindle hangs from a central chain that conceals the cable run. The 60cm diameter works over dining tables seating 4-6 people and in hallways 2-3m wide, providing ambient light distributed evenly by the five bulbs. The matt black finish absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping the focus on the bulbs themselves and the chandelier's silhouette rather than metallic glare.

The ironwork frame weighs 7.25kg, giving the chandelier physical presence without requiring specialist ceiling fixings — a standard UK ceiling rose and chain hook rated for 10kg or more will support it. The chain allows the chandelier to hang vertically even on a sloped ceiling, as long as the ceiling rose is mounted securely. The chain naturally finds vertical regardless of the ceiling angle.
