The Bonelle is an 8-light chandelier with curved arms radiating from a central baluster-turned column, finished in hand-painted cream. Each arm extends outward in a gentle curve and terminates in a cream bobeche with an SES (Small Edison Screw) candle-style bulb holder. The central column stacks three turned spheres above a lower baluster section, giving the chandelier a vertical focal point that balances the 80cm horizontal spread of the arms.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Bonelle provides ambient light distributed evenly across the room. The 69cm drop suits standard UK ceiling roses and allows the chandelier to hang 700-800mm above a dining table in a room with a 2.7-2.9m ceiling. Each of the eight arms accepts an SES bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose warm-white filament-style LEDs or traditional candle bulbs depending on the room's aesthetic.

The hand-painted cream finish gives a soft, matte surface that minimises reflections and pairs with both warm neutrals (beige, taupe, soft grey) and cooler contemporary palettes. Decorative scrollwork near the central column and turned finials at the top and bottom of the baluster give the chandelier a traditional profile without the weight of ornate metalwork. At 4.23kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings but is lighter than solid brass or wrought iron equivalents of the same diameter.

What bulbs does the Bonelle take?

The chandelier takes eight SES (E14, Small Edison Screw) bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W warm-white LED candle bulbs at 2700K for a soft traditional glow, or clear filament-style LEDs for a more visible lamp aesthetic.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 69cm drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher. For a dining table the chandelier typically hangs 700-800mm above the table surface, which requires a minimum 2.7m ceiling. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the Bonelle if the chain is shortened during installation.

Is the cream finish durable?

The hand-painted cream finish is applied to metal armature and is durable under normal indoor use. It is not suitable for outdoor or high-humidity environments. Dust can be removed with a dry microfibre cloth; avoid chemical cleaners or abrasive materials.

Can the chandelier be used with a dimmer?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. If you fit dimmable LED or halogen SES bulbs and pair them with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer, the chandelier can be dimmed. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.
