Description

The Auren is a 450mm crystal chandelier with five integrated 6W LEDs set within a ring of faceted crystal elements that encircle the entire fixture. The crystal pieces are held in a polished chrome frame, and the base of the fitting carries a frosted glass diffuser that spreads light evenly downward while the crystal ring refracts and reflects ambient light across the ceiling and room.

Designed for dining rooms, sitting rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Auren provides both downward ambient light through the diffuser and decorative sparkle through the crystal surround. The 138cm total drop includes the suspension cables, which are adjustable during installation to suit different ceiling heights. The polished chrome canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and conceals the cable entry point.

The crystal elements are cut with multiple facets that catch light from different angles depending on viewer position and time of day, so the fixture presents different visual textures as you move around the room. The polished chrome finish reflects cooler tones and pairs well with grey, charcoal and white interiors, while the crystal detailing softens the metallic frame. At 6.8kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings on a joist or reinforced mounting point.

The faceted crystal elements can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth when the power is off and the fitting has cooled. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the crystal or using chemical sprays that may leave residue on the facets.

Does the chrome require polishing?

Polished chrome is a plated finish that does not require regular polishing. Fingerprints and smudges can be removed with a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishing compounds that may damage the plating.
