Description

The Auren is a 45cm flush-mounted crystal ceiling light with a polished chrome base and a continuous ring of faceted crystal prisms surrounding a frosted central diffuser. Five integrated 6W LED modules sit inside the chrome frame, directing light through the crystals and the diffuser to create layered ambient illumination with prismatic sparkle.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, compact living rooms and spaces with ceiling heights below 2.4m, the Auren provides general lighting without extending more than 14cm from the ceiling. The flush mount suits rooms where a pendant would intrude into head space or where the ceiling needs to remain visually uncluttered. The frosted diffuser balances the brightness from the LEDs, preventing harsh direct glare while allowing the crystal prisms to refract light across the ceiling plane.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light back into the room and provides a cooler metallic contrast against the warm-toned light output. Each crystal prism is facet-cut to catch and redirect light, producing a subtle shimmer that becomes more pronounced in the evening when the LEDs are the primary light source. Yes. The 14cm projection makes it appropriate for ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards, where a pendant would reduce usable headroom. The flush mount keeps the light tight to the ceiling plane while still providing adequate general illumination.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

The five 6W LEDs are integrated into the fitting. They are not user-replaceable modules. LED lifespan is typically rated at 15,000-25,000 hours depending on the specific diodes used by Impex in this model.

Switch off the mains supply and allow the LEDs to cool. Wipe each crystal prism with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid chemical sprays that can leave residue on the chrome or cloud the frosted diffuser.
