Description
The Zinta is a 75cm crystal chandelier with twelve E14 candle bulb positions arranged across two tiers of scrolled antique brass arms. Each arm supports a drip pan fitted with faceted Asfour crystal droplets, and additional crystal spheres hang on chains between the tiers and beneath the lower tier, totaling approximately 80 individual crystal elements across the fitting.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Zinta provides both ambient light from the twelve bulbs and decorative sparkle from the refracted light through the crystals. The adjustable drop of 870-2340mm allows the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table in standard ceiling heights, or extended further in rooms with taller ceilings. The 15kg weight requires a ceiling rose rated for the load and professional installation is recommended.
The antique brass finish shows a darker, aged patina compared to polished or brushed brass, giving the metal a heritage character that pairs with period interiors, classical schemes and rich wood tones. Each crystal is Asfour-cut leaded glass, providing higher refractive index and clearer facet definition than acrylic or lower-grade glass alternatives. The two-tier construction distributes the twelve light sources across a 75cm diameter, creating broader light spread than a single-tier arrangement of the same bulb count.
Bulbs are sold separately. The chandelier accepts any standard E14 candle bulb up to 20W per socket, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs depending on the desired light colour and intensity. When paired with dimmable E14 LEDs and a compatible dimmer switch, the Zinta allows adjustment from full brightness for dining to lower levels for ambient evening lighting.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Zinta take?
The chandelier takes twelve E14 candle bulbs, sold separately. Each socket accepts up to 20W, so twelve 6W LED candle bulbs would give approximately 5,000 lumens total output. Most users pair this with warm-white 2700K LEDs to complement the antique brass finish.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and paired with a compatible LED dimmer switch. The chandelier frame itself has no dimming restriction — dimmer compatibility depends entirely on the bulbs chosen.
What ceiling height is needed?
The minimum drop of 870mm suits standard 2.4-2.7m ceiling heights when hung above a dining table, leaving approximately 700-900mm clearance above the table surface. The maximum 2340mm drop extends the chandelier into double-height spaces or above staircases where the ceiling is 3.5m or higher.
How is the chandelier cleaned?
Switch off at the mains. Wipe the antique brass arms with a dry microfibre cloth — avoid brass polish as it will remove the aged patina. Clean the Asfour crystals with a barely-damp cloth and distilled water, or use a specialist crystal cleaner. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the fitting as it may drip onto the brass or into the lamp holders.
