Description

The Zaria II is a 142.5cm chandelier built from 21 individual amber acrylic shades linked along a curved gold-finished metal frame, housing integrated LED strips that deliver 75.5W at 3000K with a CRI above 90. The shades are moulded into organic, faceted shapes that catch and refract the light, creating patterns on surrounding surfaces as the amber acrylic diffuses the warm white LED output.

Designed for installation above dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, the Zaria II requires a clear span of at least 1.5m along its length and 30cm front-to-back to accommodate the arc of the frame. The fixture includes a TRIAC-compatible dimming driver and dimming set, allowing output to be controlled via compatible wall dimmers or smart home systems. The 104cm drop is fixed, so ceiling height and table position should be confirmed before installation.

The gold frame is powder-coated steel rather than plated metal, giving a consistent mid-tone gold finish that resists tarnishing and pairs well with brass, copper and warm wood tones in both contemporary and traditional settings. At 17.8kg the fixture requires secure ceiling fixings into joists or solid ceiling substrate, the weight is distributed along the frame but the fixing point at the canopy carries the full load. The amber acrylic gives the light a warm, honeyed tone when illuminated, shifting the effective colour temperature from the rated 3000K to approximately 2700K as perceived by the eye.

Each acrylic shade is hollow and backed by LED strip sections concealed within the frame, so there are no visible bulbs or individual lamp heads. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only. The fixture is supplied pre-wired with the LED strips integrated, so no separate bulbs are required or replaceable by the end user.

Is the Zaria II dimmable?

Yes. The fixture includes a TRIAC-compatible dimming driver and dimming set, allowing it to be controlled via compatible TRIAC wall dimmers or smart home dimming systems. Confirm dimmer compatibility with the driver specification before installation.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 104cm drop is fixed, so for installation above a dining table or island (where the fixture typically sits 700-900mm above the surface), a ceiling height of 2.6m or above is recommended. Lower ceilings risk the fixture sitting too low over the table.

Are the LED strips replaceable?

The LED strips are integrated into the frame and pre-wired at the factory. They are not user-replaceable. The rated lifespan is typically 25,000-30,000 hours depending on dimming usage, which equates to approximately 10-15 years at average residential use.

How is the amber acrylic cleaned?

Wipe the acrylic shades with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with water only. Do not use glass cleaners, polishes, solvents or abrasive materials, as these can scratch or cloud the acrylic surface.
