Description
The Yeti is a solar-powered outdoor wall light with an integrated motion sensor, graphite-finished metal housing, and a built-in 2.2W 3000K LED array. The rectangular body measures 140mm wide by 190mm tall and projects 50mm from the wall, with a grid of LED dots visible behind a frosted panel. The solar panel charges an internal battery during daylight, storing enough power to illuminate the wall when the motion sensor detects movement after dark.
Designed for porches, patios, garden walls and garage entrances, the Yeti provides task lighting where mains wiring is impractical or absent. The motion sensor activates the light when movement is detected within its range, delivering 188 lumens in a 107° beam angle for several minutes before switching off again to conserve battery. The IP54 rating protects the housing against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed outdoor positions.
The graphite finish is a dark grey powder-coated metal that sits between matt black and charcoal, pairing well with anthracite cladding, dark render, and black or grey fascias. The LED grid layout behind the frosted panel creates a visible pattern when the light is active, distinguishing the Yeti from featureless sensor security lights. At 0.75kg the fitting is light enough to mount on render or timber cladding using appropriate fixings for the substrate.
The touch switch on the housing allows manual override, turning the light on without waiting for motion detection or switching it off entirely during the day. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty covering the LED driver, sensor electronics and housing. The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours and is not user-replaceable.

Frequently Asked
How long does the solar charge last?
The internal battery charges during daylight hours. A full charge typically provides several hours of cumulative light output when the motion sensor activates the LED. Actual runtime depends on sensor activation frequency, season, and the amount of direct sunlight the panel receives during the day.
Does it need mains wiring?
No. The Yeti is entirely solar-powered. The only installation requirement is mounting the housing to a wall or post in a position where the solar panel receives daylight for most of the day.
What range does the motion sensor cover?
The motion sensor specification is not provided in the product data. Most outdoor motion sensors of this style detect movement within 3-5 metres at a 90-120° arc in front of the fitting. Contact us if you need confirmed sensor range before purchase.
Can it be left switched on permanently?
The touch switch allows manual override to turn the light on without motion detection, but this will drain the battery faster. The fitting is designed to operate in motion-sensor mode for best battery performance.
