Description
The Viena is a 2-seater sofa upholstered in beige velvet with a polished gold metal frame that runs along the base and rises to form vertical accent strips on the arm panels. The 200cm width and 105cm depth provide seating for two adults, while the 75cm height keeps the profile low enough for rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings. Four matching scatter cushions are included, two in solid beige velvet and two in a chevron-patterned jacquard.
Designed for compact living rooms, bedroom seating areas, and boutique reception spaces, the Viena combines the soft hand of 320g/m² polyester velvet with the structural presence of visible metal framing. The beech wood skeleton inside the upholstery carries the weight of the cushioning and provides the mounting points for the external gold metal tubes. The gold finish on the frame is polished rather than brushed, so it reflects light and contrasts more sharply with the matte velvet.
The seat cushions are filled with 36kg/m³ density foam rubber backed by hollow fibre fill, giving initial softness with underlying support. At 62kg the sofa has enough mass to stay stable on rugs without needing floor anchoring, but can still be moved by two people for cleaning or rearranging. The beige tone sits between cream and taupe, pairing comfortably with warm greys, soft whites, and other neutral palettes without introducing cool or warm bias.

Frequently Asked
What are the cushions filled with?
The seat cushions use 36kg/m³ density foam rubber for support, with hollow fibre fill added for a softer initial feel. The four scatter cushions included with the sofa use the same fill combination.
Is the velvet suitable for everyday use?
The 320g/m² polyester velvet is heavier than typical clothing-grade velvet and is designed for upholstery. It will show directional pile marks from sitting and brushing, which is normal for velvet and can be evened out by running a soft brush over the surface.
How is the metal frame attached?
The polished gold metal tubes are fixed to the beech wood skeleton inside the upholstery. They form part of the structural frame rather than being purely decorative overlays.
Will the sofa fit through a standard door?
At 200cm width, the sofa will not fit through a typical 75-80cm doorway without tilting. Check your doorway width and hallway turning radius before ordering. The sofa can be manoeuvred on its side or end to pass through narrower openings, but requires two people to handle safely due to the 62kg weight.
