Description

The Tides is a 460mm diameter crystal suspension light built around a circular matte black drum frame trimmed with a brushed gold outer edge. Five E14 bulb fittings sit above the frame, lighting tiered rows of faceted crystal drops that hang in concentric layers below. The crystal elements refract and scatter light from the bulbs, turning the fitting into both a light source and a reflective sculptural object.

Designed for dining tables, bedroom dressing areas and kitchen islands where ceiling heights allow a 510mm drop, the Tides suits rooms between 3m and 4.5m square. The suspension cables are adjustable on installation, allowing the fitting to hang 700-900mm above a table surface or lower over a kitchen counter. The compact 460mm diameter keeps the fitting proportionate to smaller dining tables and breakfast bars without losing the visual density of the crystal tiers.
