Description

The Tides is a 1440mm linear crystal suspension light built around a rectangular matt black frame edged in brushed gold, with 11 E14 bulb fittings arranged along its length. Beneath the frame, multiple tiers of faceted crystal drops cascade down 370mm, catching and refracting light from the bulbs into the room below.

Designed for installation above long dining tables (2-3m), kitchen islands and central seating zones in open-plan interiors, the Tides delivers directional illumination across its full length rather than a single centre point. The 1440mm span suits rooms with elongated proportions or where a single central pendant would leave the ends of a table or island in shadow. Suspended on adjustable cables, the fixture can be set 700-900mm above a dining surface or 800-1000mm above a kitchen worktop depending on ceiling height.

The matt black finish on the metal frame absorbs ambient light and makes the brushed gold edge detailing more visible, while the crystal tiers soften the linear geometry with layered texture. At 32kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or structural support — surface mounting on plasterboard alone is not sufficient. The E14 bulbs (sold separately) are recessed into the top of the frame, so the crystal drops act as the primary visible light source when viewed from below.
