The Sola is a recessed LED step light built for low-level marking along stairs, landings and hallway walls. It draws just 0.8W at 12V DC and gives a soft 13 lumen output in a 3000K warm white tone, so the light grazes downward across treads and skirting rather than filling a room. The round face measures Ø70 mm and sits almost flush once installed, which keeps the fitting discreet by day and quietly useful underfoot at night. Sold in the US as a recessed step or stair light, it serves the same purpose: a gentle pool of guidance light low on the wall.

The Sola suits indoor staircases, hallway runs and the wall beside a landing where a small marker light keeps the route visible without glare. Its output is deliberately low, so think of it as orientation lighting rather than ambient room lighting: a single unit washes the step or floor immediately below it, and a series spaced along a flight reads as a line of soft guide points. The IP20 rating means it is for dry indoor positions only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any exposed or damp location. For taller stairwells, fitting one per few steps gives an even rhythm of light down the run.
