Ripple 6 Light Crystal Chandelier - Chrome

The Ripple is a 510mm diameter crystal chandelier with six integrated 5W AC COB LEDs set behind three rows of textured clear crystal panels arranged in an offset grid pattern around a cylindrical polished chrome frame. The crystal panels are cut with an undulating wave surface that refracts light into rippling reflections across the room, while a frosted white diffuser panel beneath the crystals softens the downward light output.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where a centrepiece fitting is needed, the Ripple suits ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. The 510mm diameter provides presence without overwhelming typical 1.6-2m dining tables, and the suspension cables (adjustable on installation) allow the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above the table surface depending on the room proportions. The polished chrome frame gives defined edges and tonal contrast against the clear crystal.

The offset grid arrangement of the crystal panels creates a faceted surface texture rather than a flat drum, catching and reflecting ambient daylight from windows as well as the internal LED output after dark. The combined weight of the chrome frame, crystal panels and diffuser is 8kg, requiring secure ceiling fixings onto a joist or into a concrete ceiling. The integrated LEDs draw 30W total (six bulbs at 5W each) and are non-replaceable, the entire fitting is the light source.

Are the LEDs replaceable?

No. The six AC COB LEDs are integrated into the fitting and are not user-replaceable. The entire unit functions as the light source. LED lifespan is typically 20,000-30,000 hours depending on usage patterns.

What ceiling height does it need?

The 320mm height of the fitting itself plus suspension cables means ceiling heights of 2.5m or above work best. For a dining table the pendant typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which requires approximately 2.5-2.7m floor-to-ceiling clearance once the fitting height is accounted for.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off at the mains before cleaning. Use a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust from the crystal panels. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, wipe gently and dry immediately. Do not spray household cleaners directly onto the fitting.

What installation is required?

The 8kg weight requires secure ceiling fixings into a joist or concrete ceiling, standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient. The fitting connects to mains 230V AC and should be installed by a qualified electrician. Suspension cables are adjustable during installation to set the drop height.
