Description

The Ring is a 61cm circular LED suspension light with an integrated 25W 3000K LED running around the full circumference of a metal hoop, diffused through a clear acrylic panel that follows the inner edge of the ring. The structure is finished in sanded matt black, creating a low-sheen surface that absorbs reflections rather than amplifying them. The suspended ring casts both downward task light and a soft upward wash onto the ceiling.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room centrepieces, the Ring works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The suspension cables adjust between 45cm and 120cm drop, allowing the light to be set 60-80cm above a dining table or higher as ambient lighting in a double-height space. The 61cm diameter suits tables from 120cm to 180cm in length without overwhelming smaller circular tables of 90-110cm diameter.

The sanded black finish on the metal hoop and ceiling rose provides texture without gloss, pairing with industrial, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors where matt black metalwork is an accent material. The clear acrylic diffuser softens the LED strip without tinting the light, maintaining the warmth of the 3000K colour temperature. At 1.51kg the fitting is light enough for standard plasterboard ceilings with proper fixing hardware.

The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor spaces — dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms and hallways. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, but at 25W output and typical LED lifespan the fitting is designed for many years of use before end-of-life.

What table size does the 61cm ring suit?

The 61cm diameter works well over rectangular tables from 120cm to 180cm in length and circular tables of 90-110cm diameter. For larger tables consider two Ring pendants spaced along the length.

Can the suspension height be adjusted after installation?

The cables can be shortened during installation by adjusting the cable grips inside the ceiling rose. Once installed the drop is fixed unless the ceiling rose is accessed again to re-adjust the cable length.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

The LED is integrated into the metal hoop and cannot be replaced. At typical LED lifespan (20,000-30,000 hours) the fitting should provide many years of use before end-of-life.
