Description

The Queenlight is a 3-light crystal chandelier built around a polished chrome frame with three curved glass arms, each holding a single SES candle bulb socket and dressed with Czech cut crystal droplets and pendants. The 45cm diameter frame suspends from a chrome ceiling rose and chain, with a central glass column running through the core of the fitting.

Designed for smaller dining rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and alcoves where ceiling space is limited, the Queenlight provides ambient and decorative light without the visual weight of larger 5-light or 8-light fittings. The compact 45cm footprint suits rooms 3-4m square, while the 36cm body height plus chain drop allows installation over a dining table or in a bedroom with standard 2.4m ceiling heights.

The Czech crystal droplets are machine-cut with faceted edges that catch and refract light from the three bulbs, scattering prismatic reflections onto surrounding walls when lit. The polished chrome finish on the frame and fittings provides a cooler metallic tone than brass or gold, pairing well with contemporary neutrals, greys and cooler-toned traditional interiors. The glass arms are clear rather than frosted, so the structure of the fitting remains visible when viewed from below.

What bulb does it take?

The Queenlight takes three SES (E14 small Edison screw) candle bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with LED candle bulbs in the 4-6W range at 2700K-3000K for a warm white light that complements the crystal.

What room size does it suit?

The 45cm diameter works well in rooms between 3-4m square, such as smaller dining rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and alcoves. In larger rooms the chandelier can serve as secondary or decorative lighting rather than the primary light source.

How is it cleaned?

Switch off the power at the mains before cleaning. Wipe the chrome frame with a dry microfibre cloth. For the crystal droplets, either remove them individually and wash in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, or spray with a glass cleaner and wipe gently while still on the fitting. Avoid soaking the glass arms or metal fittings.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The chandelier suspends from a standard ceiling rose via chain, so minor slopes can be accommodated by adjusting the chain hang. Steep slopes may require a specialist angled ceiling rose adapter, which is not included with the fitting.
