Description

The PREDA is a free-standing LED desk lamp built for focused task lighting at a workstation. Drawing up to 7.3W and delivering up to 570 lumens, it puts bright, even light directly onto the surface in front of you rather than across the wider room. The colour temperature is selectable across 3000K, 5000K and 6500K, so the same lamp shifts from a warm working glow to a crisp, neutral daylight tone. As a desk lamp, or task lamp as it is more often called across the US, its adjustable arm and head let you aim the beam exactly where it is needed.

Sitting on its own weighted base, the PREDA suits a home office desk, a study area or a bedside reading spot. The adjustable arm and tilting head mean you can position the light over a keyboard, a book or a craft surface and angle it to keep glare out of your eyeline. Because it concentrates light on the immediate work area rather than the whole room, it pairs well with general ceiling lighting and gives a clear pool of brightness for close, detailed work. The cooler 6500K setting helps with concentration, while the 3000K setting eases the eyes for evening reading.

The body is moulded plastic in a black finish, with the LEDs integrated so there is no bulb to replace over a rated 25,000 hour lifespan. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor use only and the lamp is not dimmable, running from a 220 to 240V AC supply with a colour rendering of Ra 80 for accurate tones. Weighing just over 1kg, it stays stable on the desk while remaining easy to reposition.
