Description

The PowerMaster 4-sided outdoor wall lantern is a black aluminium fitting with clear glass panels on all four sides and a decorative pointed finial at the top. The lantern takes a single ES (E27) bulb inside the glass enclosure, which distributes light through each panel. The IP44 rating protects the fitting against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for porches, patios and exterior walls exposed to rain.

Designed for mounting on exterior walls beside front doors, along pathways, or either side of garage entrances, the lantern provides directed downlight and ambient side-glow through the clear glass. The 360mm depth projects the light forward from the wall, casting enough downward light to illuminate door thresholds and steps. The fitting mounts directly onto a standard UK exterior back box and the downward orientation of the ES lampholder keeps bulb changes straightforward.

The black aluminium frame resists corrosion better than painted steel in coastal or damp environments, and the clear glass panels allow full bulb output without diffusion. The four-sided lantern shape suits both Victorian-style brick exteriors and cottage render finishes, providing consistent ambient light in all directions. The lantern takes a standard ES (E27 Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for outdoor porch lighting.

The IP44 rating makes it suitable for outdoor zones 1, 2 and 3 (splashing water from any direction). It is not rated for zone 0, which means it cannot be installed in positions where it would be submerged or subject to direct water jets.
