The Pixa is a free-standing desk lamp built for focused task lighting, with an adjustable arm and head that direct the light exactly where it is needed across the work surface in front of you. It runs on a single E14 fitting at up to 10W, weighted on its own base so it stays put while you reposition the beam. In US terms this is the kind of reading lamp or adjustable task light you would set beside a desk, throwing a controlled pool of light onto the area you are working on rather than washing the whole room.

The Pixa suits a home office, study desk, bedside reading spot or a workbench where you want light placed on the page, keyboard or project rather than overhead. Because the head pivots, you can angle the throw to keep glare out of your eyes and put the brightness onto the task itself, which is what makes a dedicated task lamp easier to work under for long stretches than a general ceiling fitting. Does the Pixa take a replaceable bulb?

Yes. It uses a single E14 SES fitting rated to a maximum of 10W, so you can fit your own LED bulb. This lets you pick the brightness and colour temperature that suit your work, and swap it if your preference changes.

Can I use this lamp outdoors or in a bathroom?

No. The Pixa is rated IP20, which means it is for dry indoor use only. Keep it clear of bathrooms, damp areas and any outdoor or sheltered-outdoor location.

Is it a clamp lamp or does it stand on a base?

The Pixa is free-standing and rests on its own weighted base, so it does not clamp to a desk edge. The arm and head adjust so you can angle the light onto your work, and at 1.30 kg it stays stable while you reposition it.

How do I keep the lamp clean?

Wipe the white plastic and metal surfaces with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, with the lamp switched off and cool. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can mark the finish over time.
