Oceans 6 Light Linear Crystal Chandelier - Chrome

The Oceans is an 85cm linear crystal chandelier with six integrated 5W AC COB LEDs set into a polished chrome frame, from which cascading strands of faceted crystal drops hang in graduated tiers. The chrome bar sits horizontally above the crystal curtain, suspended on two steel cables that allow the 148cm total drop to be adjusted during installation to suit ceiling height.

Designed for narrow dining tables, kitchen islands and hallway zones with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Oceans works where a circular chandelier would feel too wide. The linear format suits tables up to 2m long and gives directional light along the length of the table rather than spreading outward. The six LED modules are spaced evenly along the chrome bar, each outputting warm white light that refracts through the crystal drops below.

Each crystal strand is formed from multiple faceted beads threaded on fine wire, creating a curtain effect that catches both natural daylight and the LED light from above. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding colours and light sources, giving the fitting a lighter visual weight than its 4.8kg actual mass would suggest. The combination of vertical drop and horizontal spread makes the Oceans read as a sculpture suspended in space rather than a traditional hanging fixture.

What ceiling height does this need?

The 148cm drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. For dining tables, the bottom of the crystal curtain typically hangs 700-850mm above the table surface, which requires a 2.9-3.2m ceiling depending on table height. The suspension cables can be shortened during installation if needed.

Is the LED replaceable?

The six AC COB LED modules are integrated into the chrome bar and are not designed for user replacement. LED lifespan is typically 20,000-30,000 hours of use.

What table length does it suit?

The 85cm linear span suits dining tables between 1.4m and 2m in length. For longer tables, consider placing two Oceans fixtures end-to-end, or choose a wider chandelier to match the table proportions.

How is the crystal maintained?

The faceted crystal beads attract dust over time. Clean by gently wiping each strand with a dry microfibre cloth while the fitting is switched off and cool. For heavier buildup, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the wire threads or using chemical sprays.
