Description

The Norden is a 14-light spiral chandelier built from elongated crystal rods arranged in a helical cascade, suspended from a 50cm-diameter gunmetal flush canopy. The 142cm overall drop creates a vertical sculpture of descending crystal tiers, each tier housing two SES bulb holders positioned within the crystal structure. The rods are cut with faceted edges that refract light through the crystal, creating dispersed reflections across walls and ceilings as the bulbs illuminate the interior of the spiral.

Designed for stairwells, double-height entrance halls and above dining tables in rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above, the Norden requires vertical clearance to display the full spiral drop. The flush canopy sits tight to the ceiling with minimal projection, making it suitable for spaces where a standard chain suspension would reduce headroom. The 18kg weight requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting the load — most modern ceilings accommodate this via a reinforced ceiling rose or direct joist fixing.

The gunmetal finish on the canopy and internal framework provides a darker metallic tone than polished chrome, pairing the reflective quality of metal with a muted anthracite-grey hue that sits comfortably in contemporary interiors using charcoal, black and warm grey palettes. Each of the 14 SES bulb positions accepts bulbs up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED or filament bulbs at the desired colour temperature. No. Gunmetal is a dark anthracite-grey metallic finish with a low-sheen surface. It has more reflective quality than matt black but less shine than polished chrome, sitting between the two in tonal depth.
